I bought the V551 from Cingular yesterday and found the above posting, but on my phone, the path to the setting above is different. Wanted to document it here for anyone reading this posting later on...
Menu >> Settings >> Web Sessions >> Web Sessions (yes, this appears 2x) >>
Cingular
MMS
[New Entry]
Highlight Cingular (if that's the setting you want to edit) and click menu button (If you highlight and click "select" it will just launch the session, be sure to select the menu button)

so if i follow these instructions, and have the 19.99 unlimited internet useage on the phone. i should have unlimited use on the notebook as well? if so, I THANK YOU GREATLY!

I had the same problem, but for some reason mine was set to T-Mobile Germany.
