I used to be able to access the internet using the wap settings with my v551 that is signed with a media basics package but this is no longer posible. Has Cingular change something. Is anyone else having the same problem?

1) Press MENU
2) Select Web Access
3) In Web Access, select Web Session
4) In Web Session, press the MENU button to create a new GPRS connection
When you do that, you will see the fields where you can enter the info.

GeZim, I verify my settings against the ones you posted on another post and I have on my phone a CSD number (14152441012) with a user and password. on Line Type 1 I have ISDN and on Line Type 2 I have Modem selected with username and password. Should I change this?

Create a new one exactly like mine and set it as your default GPRS.
Once you do that you'll be able to connect, as long as there's a GPRS icon on your home screen now that depends on the service reception.
