Hey everybody,
ok, really really simple question, but I cannot for my life find it anywhere.
I have a datacable and nothing else.
I downloaded teh driver for my v300, but windows will not install it for me (xp).
What do I need?
I just want to put mp3s on my phone. THANKS!

Not sure where you have been searching but you can use mobile phone tools, p2kman or mss to d/l files to your phone. Don't forget a mp3 editing software to edit your mp3. Look for mp3 cutter by cooolsoft.

thanks duc, I have mbt but when it says, "Your phone is being installed and setup" it never finishes.

ohh, it says make sure your phone is not locked?
If I unlock it, will it cause me to lose service?
Sorry these are such newbie questions!

Which program are you using to prompt for the message. Is your phone a t-momo V600 and you purchased it from a tmomo store? It is probably locked. If you unlock it, you will not lose service but will enable you to use different provider's sim card. It is a good thing.

yeah, I got it from a t-mobile vendor. it's a v300.
So I'm going to unlock it...how? hah!
