i just converted my v205 to v200. there are many positiive differences. but i ran into a problem. i use tmobile, but can no longer send text msg to my friends that have other service providers (only tmobile). is there anyway to fix that? it feels like i'm missing out. afterall, i do pay for the text messaging, why not get the most out of it? =D Thanks

er... where are you though? europe or in the states?

the reason being is that you have to check your message settings....

go to menu-> settings-> text msg-> then service centre...

check first what is the default service centre of your carrier (wether in the states or not) through customer service or tech support... or easier, just find a friend who has the same Tmobile carrier then copy his/her sms settings...

hopefully that works for yah!

cheers!

what first is your settings... check first your fones settings...

go to... text messages->settings->text msg-> service center...

check if what you are using is currently the same thing as what your friends or family is using as well.... (try to do a little research first, with friends etc, so you can copy if ever the service center number)

hope this works for you.

So i've tried using the same settings as before and the same settings/service center number my family member has. It still doesn't work. My friends kept messaging me and I can't reply. It's a torture. Someone please help. Thanks a lot!

up! hi all, I was just wondering if there was a solution to this problem. I recently flashed to v200 as well and can only text message other t-mobile users icon_cry.gif

What version flash did you flash to??

Most likely the cause is that flash version DOES NOT support unicode character support and inter carrier sms doesnt work.

E5,F3, and G1 are the most popular and any of those will work fine for you.

They really are very similar. The only noticeable difference is that G1 has a larger font in which some people dont like and go for F3, or E5. Personally, the bigger text doesnt bother me, I kind of like it, makes it REAL easy to read.
Everyone is going to have an opinion on the 'Best' one, so just choose one form your own and enjoy.
