Please help me with unlocking Motorola V220 or Motorola V180.
I just bought these two phones and need help with unlocking them so that I can use them outside of USA.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Let me just tell you what I've been through today on this subject. I'd love to hear any comments or input.
I recently purchased a Moto Razr V3. Before I did this I called Singular and asked them if the phone was unlocked. I told them my carrier was T-Mobile. They asured me it would be unlocked but I would of course have to pay the full price $600. I did and to my dismay it was indeed LOCKED.
I called the manager who suddenly played dumb and offered a full refund. I said I paid for the phone unlocked and thats what I expect. He said there was nothing he could do. For "Blank" & Giggles I called T-Mobile. Nothing they could do. I drove to a local cell shop that specializes in unlocking phones who said he has unlocked a number of the V3's already. Reasonable price too, $15 He was dumbfounded! He couldn't do it. He said it must be a new version or series. He said I would have to wait until new software was available.
I then called Cingular again and spoke with a supervisor. She said that the only one who could unlock it or offer the unlock code was the manufacturer...Motorola. I called Motorola and they said they could not, by law, give out the codes and that only the carrier can. He informed me of a website Cingular has where you can request the Subsidy password or code. However, the website states this is only for active Cingular customers.
In the middle of all this I begin to feel as if I am in a "Keystone Cops" movie.
So, I was honest, paid for the product and this is what I get. And the truth is I was truely considering moving over to Cingular once my contract was up. Not now!! I can't believe these idiots do business this way. Sorry but these Bozo's need to be regulated!!
Hey, I am Cingular Customer give me the website I will do it

Does anyone know of a shop in the northeast (Mass or Rhode Island are ideal) that has a Smart Clip to unlock phones?
Hey old_fool - can your clip unlock V620/V600i phones? Just curious.... If I can't find a local place to get it done, I might be trusting/naive enough to ship it to you! BTW - how do I find out your email address? Can't find the link for it...
Thanks!

I'm sorry - didn't mean to imply that I didn't trust you! I'm just feeling a bit like a rented mule considering how frustrating it's been trying to get this phone unlocked. I mean - once you lock a phone by flashing it, you're screwed because you don't HAVE a previous carrier to beat up for the subsidy code! Anyway, I requested a code from phoneunlocknow.com, and of course it didn't work, so I need to figure out what my next steps are. Since I sent P.U.N.com $20, I might as well have them earn it!
Thank you very much for the offer to unlock stuff for free - it's definitely refreshing to have someone out there who's helping people without thinking about how they are going to make money off of it...

I've recently baught a T722i phone and when i turn it on it says "contact service provider" so i've downloaded MSS 3.6 and when i hit the unblock button it says:
"Establishing connection with Motorola phone...
Phone found, initiating...
Error initializing TCI (phone is in flash mode?)"
im assuming that i have to flash the phone and for that i need a flash file...right?
if im correct, does anybody know where can i get a flash file for this phone because i already have a flash file and when i try to flash the phone it says: " the file you have selected is not a valid mtorola SSW+ flash file"
