First, I'm new to this forum, but have gained a lot of helpful information from it! Thanks for all the tips!
Here's my question: I got a T-Mobile V300 (it was a T-Mobile To Go Phone) and got it unlocked. I put my AT&T SIM card in it, but am unable to access the Web and other functions I had on my AT&T phone. Is there anything I can do? It appears the phone still has T-Mobile's settings in place for Web Access etc. as it attempts to access T-Zones rather than mMode for AT&T. HELP!
Thanks again for all of the valuable information![/b]

Unlocking a locked phone doesn't necessary unlock its features from its provider. It just means that you are able to use any sim card to make calls and receive them.
You would have to flash your phone to unbrand it. I has similar issue with my old Samsung phone from T-momo. I upgraded the firmware and was able to wipe out the t-zone settings.

Thanks for the information! I appreciate it. I thought that may be what I had to do. I found Flash & Flex Downloads on your website. Question: Once I flash it, what do I do next? In other words, does flashing the phone enable me to access the web and all other features with my ATT service? Sorry, I'm new at all of this....Thanks!

I won a v551 on ebay and the seller sold it as "unlocked". when it arrived I found that it was not. My service is with cingular and the phone is AT&T. I have tried to reach the seller for the unlock code but he is refusing to answer (last time I use Ebay). Does any one know how I can get this phone unlocked? Help!!
First off go on ebay and email him saying youll leave a - comment on his sales...that miite or miite not get his attention, all else fails negative and leave a spitefull comment...Moving on if he fails then you can use a smart clip, unlock service, or find someway for cingular or att to unlock it (doubtful as they are on switched bases now) Try the first 1 and see what happens.
