Ya thats the other alternate course. If you have a cell phone shop or repair center you should be able to get the phone unlocked there, remember to ask if they do the method you wish to have them do.

I got my V600 unlocked in Westminister. A place called "Cell U Page." Its not close, but worth a try. |
MSI on Del Mar, San Gabriel will do it for $10 in 2 min (smart clip)! You do need to go far!

Ya just find anywhere close that does smart clip(personally i think thats the best way to go) so you don't end up putting to much to get it unlocked.

you shouldn't need it done then.... just put in a different sim,... unless i'm mistaken, it is locked in the country you're in.
if not ring provider and ask for a subsidy code for it... just tell yhem you need it for hols..(or a present for some1)

Even then you may need to opcode bandwith, depending what they run out there, and depending if its a quadband phone or not.

Look on ebay under unlock kit and services. It only take a day sa soon as they get you payment they'll start the process and it took 4 hours the most. Or you can unlock it in Philipines, cheaper anyway. Sa for call you provider so far only Tmobile is the onlu carrier that i know that would give you the unlock code after 90 of signning contract.

press cancel on autosearch and goto F6 mode and choose communications>change modem>your phone.. when it tries to find the phone to detect the modem, switch the phone off/on again.
the restart the program... see if that work
