Same problem for me! The ISP settings appear to be the same for everyone- so how does AIM know what account to access- this must be why a screen name and password are needed. I’ve got these but still no go!

folllow these directions....

Scroll to and select "ISP Settings".
Verify the following settings:
GPRS APN: wap.cingular (this must be in lower-case letters)
User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (this must be in all upper-case letters)
Password: CINGULAR1 (this must be in all upper-case letters)
Configuring an AIM screen name:
From the standby screen, select "AIM" by pressing the Right soft key.

Enter the AIM screen name, then select "OK" .
Enter the password for the AIM account, then select "OK".
Deleting an AIM screen name:
From the standby screen, select "AIM" by pressing the Right soft key.
Scroll to and select "AIM Account".
Scroll to the AIM account to delete, then press Menu.
Scroll to "Delete" to delete the account, then press Select.
A confirmation screen will appear. Press Yes to delete the account.
NOTE: Deleting the account only removes settings from the phone. The AIM screen name will still exist on the AIM servers.

Scroll to "AIM Account", then press Select.
Scroll to the AIM account to edit, then press Menu.
