Ok, I have a Samsung x426, and it had 1.6 on it. I flashed it with a custom 1.7 FW and at the very end it got the too_many_retries error. I unplugged the cable, turned on the phone, and everything seemed to work fine. I went to the new feature that has Aol Instant Messenger built in, and I sent myself an IM from my computer from a different SN, and as soon as the message showed up on my phone, it went dead.
I coudln't turn it on or anything. So I tried reflashing both the custom 1.7 FW, and my backup of the 1.6 FW. Both get Protocol errors before it even reaches halfway. And half the time when I get to the part where it says to hit the On/off button, I hit the button and it doesn't do anything.
NOW im at the point where the phone wont turn on, and EVERYTIME i try to flash it, and i get to the On/Off part, I hit the button, and the phone does nothing.
I've tried different versions of Optiflash and I tried different methods of doing it:
Start program/plug cable/put in battery
Start program/put in battery/plug cable
Start program/Hit flash/plug in cable/put in battery
etc.
I keep getting stuck at the On/Off part. SOmeone please help me out. Any help is very appreciated.

Hi
Please let me know how do you fixed because I have a similar program but the thing is that I dont make the backup first and now my X426 is dead.
If you have your original firmware backup is possible that this can help me.
-edited-.
Thanks,
Manuel

Remove the battery from the phone for about 5 seconds, replace. Put the phone on a charger for about 3 hours, reflash and you should be good to go.
