Alright,
I just downloaded P2kman on my computer, and it works okay I think. I was able to send the mp3 that I wanted to to my sounds file on my V551, but I can't seem to make it my ringtone. I'll press the menu button when its highlighted, and press "Apply as ringtone" but after that, when someone calls, it doesn't make any sounds. Then when I try to go into the audio set up (where it says "Style: Loud" and "Loud detail"), I click on Loud Detail and it just brings me to the homescreen, rather than into the Loud Detail menu. I don't have any idea why it does this, and cingular and motorola don't know what to say either. I was really hoping one of you all would know what to do. Thanks in advance

Try a master reset on phone. If that don't work, go back in p2kman and delete mytone.db & temptone.db (i think that was the exact name.), and do a master reset.

now if I do a master reset, am I going to lose all of my phone numbers if I have them stored on my cell phone and not my SIM card? And I don't mean anything mean by this, but how sure are you about deleting those files, I really don't want to mess up my new phone  Thanks again

It is up to you if you want to try it. Master reset will not delete any files you have saved nor does it reset your wap settings. However, a master clear will.

I downloaded P2kman and I double click on the .exe file and it crashes immediately. I'm running Windows XP SP2...what's going on here? I downloaded the drivers as well.

I've been trying to find a link or site all night so that I can download p2kman. Can you help me out? Where can I find it so that I can download it to my computer? Thanks
