You may have a slightly different p2kman than mine.

Did you type in the exact seem file to be uploaded? If you look in my screenshot, where it say upload seem, I type in 0032 & 0001 as an example.

Ok. You said that you have finished editing your seems? Now, type in the seem files to your upload tab located below the download tab. You tried that and it didn't work for you?
edited: What a minute. If you are going to upload seem files, you would want to click the upload seem tab and not the pc to phone tab. Maybe that is the problem.

i got the seems to upload and im doing ok but the phone keeps overwriting my 0061/0062 to the default "Motorola" when i want it to say sumthin else....and it says that 0062 is a buackup for 0061 abut i edit both and they upload...but then i restart phone, and redownload then they are back to Motorola...not wut i inputted before and uploaded before restart...help

Did you remember to add (2) 00 00 after your last word in the 0061 and 0062 seems??

yup im uploading them one more time and testing it one more time...then after that im taking my phone and throwing it out the door..

ok it is just resetting back to motorola...is this suppose to be different becuase i have a v505 and that tutorial for hexing is based on 400? cus this isnt working and i know that i am doing this right...(i can put spaces in seems right)? in the ascii part

is there a main file that i didnt edit becuaes i didnt read the whole thing that resets all files back to default or sumthin? like in the system folder
EDIT :: i did hex the right soft key lock on an at&t phone and put it to phone book and it works great...so that hexing worked...that wuz in those two main files...forgot names....lemme check ...
