can i change the title on the phone on the lcd where it says

AT&T Wireless
DATE

can i change it to say sumthin else like

YO or sumthin then the date on the line after

i have a v505

sorry im a noob... i bought a data cable from at&t but it didnt come with any software or anything...i dont understand any of this..they just said to plug it in and it will install..now i see they were wrong...but no opened refunds icon_neutral.gif help

You will need to find a copy of p2kman and use the software to d/l the following seems instructed by the link I gave earlier. You will need to read it throughly to have an understanding of how to hex. All the info is there in that page.

ok say i just want to put a .jar from my computer onto my phone. how do i do this? i just want to transfer it right to my phone to a game. i have a usb cord..thats it

First, you will need to change .jar file to .jad using jadmaker (freeware). Then, you willl need midway 2.8 to transfer it to your phone.

Make sure you have enable your java app loader in your phone. To do this, you will need pst phone programmer.

See the motorola tutorial section on how to do all these things.

ok nvm i started using p2kman and i made it so i can change the right soft key...but now im trying to change the text AT&T Wireless...i edited the seem it says but it still says AT&T wireless...im not sure i am doing the right thing tho...but my phone will still run perfectly and smoothly...can u just tell me wut seem to edit for the AT&T Wireless thing above the date so i can change it to sumthin else


EDIT :: and what are you talking about a .far file? i just downloaded a .jar file for the game...off of mobango.

Hold it. You cannot edited your ATT logo in the main display. You can only remove it. But you can change your date to say whatever you want. However, the outer lcd display can be changed as well. When you flip open your phone it says ATT? Well, you can changed that if you like.

i know...thats what i decided to work on and i read the tutorial and i got all the files edited but when i click on PC -> Phone then i click on the seem to upload i get this error

Code:
uploading seem N 0000record N 0001File upload...  Fail: cannot open file
