I noticed the vx7000 has low rec. single. I have a 3200 that works better. I even exchanged it for another vx7000 and the same thing low sig.
Any ideas

your other phone could possibly be a tri mode phone, 7000 is digital only...or it could be your area

Thanks for the reasoning, but the phone just sucks. I had to buy a amp to make it work. I do live in a bad area, but all other services work great. I belive I'll change service after contract??
But I do thank you.
I was hoping for a miracle or update program, or something ???

I hate being in an analog area. I have the same problem since I am so close to a small airport. We are suffering from non-analog-phoneitus. Its a common condition where we live just on the outskirts where we have decent analog coverage, but not much in the digital spectrum.
You wouldn't have much problem getting GSM coverage since they are now all running 'buddy-towers' so you can get a signal about anywhere.
The other option would be to see if VZW will give you a deal on a tri-mode that has the analog reception. It might make the next few years more bearable.
Good Luck!

I just pickup a Digital wireless amp and it works great as long as I'm in the van. It boost the rec and out put to 3 watts. As long as I'm within 50 feet of the van it acts like a repeater.
If anyone is within 50 of my van it works for all
I really think it's just LG. My wife's Moto digital works just find.
But the VZ service still stinks around here. The only reason I keep them is that I can us my laptop on the boat for internet for free. All other services charge.

Can I ask the magic question of how much the amp sent you back... I really want to pick up something to give me better coverage at my house. Since I am so close to the airport here, I get massive interference, that VZW said I could buy a third party booster antenna for about $500... Well, that's not gonna happen, but if it was 1/2 that price I might consider it...
Thanks!

The amp is made by Digital. They make a few different types. I bought the wireless repeater type. I use it home, in the van, and on the boat. I paid $400 from Freeport Marine in LI. NY. It was a bit of a problem puting it in the van, because the two antennas want to be 20ft apart but I got it to work.
I would goto digital .com and check out the one you want before buying. They make one that plugs into your cell and will work in the vehicle fine, but I needed the repeater type so the wife can us it as well. anyone within 50 ft of the antenna can us it at once .
Hop this helps.
