i use a bluetooth adapter to download songs from my pc. i use a program called soundforge to extract songs from cds, then i cut the sections i want to save space on the phone. u rarely let it ring to hear the whole song! then i save it as an mp3 and send it to the fone. Any Mp3 editor will do though.
You can also download songs from those magazine ads n stuff via GRPS but i havent been able to activate mine(even after numerous calls to my service provider)

here in south africa the adapter cost R350. not sure about anywhere else. Its quite a handy little device but had a lot of trouble because of windows service pack 2, so look out for that when u get it. windows uses its own drivers instead of the one that comes with it. there are ways to go around it so just look it up on the net.
Sound Forge is made by Sonic Foundry, but u really can use any MP3 editor. go to www.tucows.net and do a search for MP3 editors or convertors. plenty free trials.

So basically with any MP3 converter i should be able to send it to my phone? What should the file size and stuff be set at?
I already have the usb cable to connect the phone to the PC so i jus need to fix the file size and put it into the phone.

What am i doing wrong?
These are my settings for my ringtone
Size: 81.6 KB
Duration: 10 secs
Bit Rate: 64 kbps
Sample Rate: 22khz
Is the size to big and if it is what program do i use to shorten it?
Also i'm still not sure which file type is supposed to go into the V600 phone, is it mp3, iMelody, midi, or something else?

the size and duration depend on the memory available .....i have full mp3's in mine @ 64 kbps. (make sure this is not an avarage as in recorded in low quality variable bitrate).
make sure the title is not to long of the mp3 your putting in (upto 20 characters i think)
