3100 Ringtone sending

Hi,can any 1 tell me why I can't seem to send polyphonic ringtones to another fone of the same make? it go's into the multimedia sending and eventually says multimedia sending failed icon_confused.gif

any help apreciated.thanks

Have you got GPRS service enabled. if no, you need to enable it to send and recieve MMS.

If you already have it enabled then the problem may be that you haven't choosen the right MMS settings.

im not 2 sure,i went on2 the Nokia site and got a GPRS enable txt(i think it was that) and now when trying 2 send a ringtone it just stays in the outbox with no error message at-all

The stuff which you got from Nokia site are the GPRS settings for Vodofone I guess. Have you saved the settings and choosen those are your default profile for sending & recieving MMS. Also check out with Vodofone if your GPRS service is enabled. If its not then you'll have to get it enabled to enjoy MMS...

yea it says "VodafoneMMS GPRS" i saved it then activated it. then i went to "services" and "connection services" the 2 there were "vodafone GPRS" and "Vodafone WAP" so i went and activated the 1st choice.

Did u activate this b4 or now? Also have you opted for GPRS service from Vodofone or is it already available on ure plan. Incase its not activated, then just having the settings won't help. You'll need to get the service activated too.

just there i activated it.I dont know if i activated the GPRS but i dont think i did.how would i go about activating the service?
