weel it was said all around tht net tht some 3rd party prog.like camera fx and philips camcorder pro.cannotb used in older firmwares of p800.......coz it does not have ECam and the ONLY way was for an upgrade......but i jst copied the ECam files frm my sis p800 and put in mine and now camera fx is working.......but tht camcoder id askin for amr.file to record voice....i will try to find tht file n then its fine everythin will work........then y did the sites say only upgrade is possible?????????thankyou.

Hi, Ecam that you've got is something like a pluggin. The firmware is already equipped with these. Many dont want anyone messing with the system root files on the phone. Thats why many say upgrade is the only way!

hey i have lost the files as i formated my phones memory...and now i am too searching for some1 to send me this....
un can also upgrade the firmware to get ......
i have no SE centers around me to get an upgrade...
will send u if i get it...

Hi,
I think that giving in your e-mail to the public is a quite risky job..! you'll find enough spammers looking for mail addresses..!
Ok..! whats your phone, and you've requested for Ccam or ECam files..?!
