MTM can be added to other plans as a feature for 9.99. i ahven't seen specific policy about no-contract options, but i believe you could add it for that cost.

I believe N&W would still be included. as far as i can see, it's only MTM that's a contract feature.

if you care enough to look, the solution is...

That's just ever so slightly condescending... I'll look it up when I'm back in my store.

However, regardless what CSP may say about no commitment activations, the only thing available in store without commitment is GoPhone.

sorry, it wasn't meant to be condescending. i just meant if you wanted to see where i got the info from.

are you in a corporate store? i can't remember...

I saw the info in csp, but i don't know who would provision it for the customer. it looks like it may have to be reverted after sign-up.

If you didn't mean to be condescending, then I apologize for taking it as such, sometimes on these Forums we end up with a lot of name calling and 'it's not my problem'-ing

Yes, I'm a manager in a COR store

I've had a customer sent into a store from Telesales before, and they volunteered us to set her up with no contract. I got on the phone with telesales in store and had them honor what they offered her. No-commitment sales, in my experience, have to be manually adjusted, and now that CARE is not in store anymore (I assume they pulled Telegence as well), we don't even have the capability to change contracts in store. Everything has to go through Customer service, or some other dept with Care.

I will check that out on CSP as soon as I'm back in my store, though...

you must be super intelligent as you were able to comment on my post without knowing any details!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i don't normally say i will or sue people unless they respond in such a way that they give me no choice.
as far as att's breach of contract i agreed to a certain # of minutes at a certain rate. i then upgraded to a better plan. two weeks later they said thier rep made a mistake and my new plan was not able to work out. i said fine, return me to my originaly contracted plan. they said they could not do that and i had to go with a plan that cost twice as much for 1/2 the minutes. to me that is breach of contract.
t-moblie--before signing me they used a gps satellite to see if i would be able to get a signal from my home. they assured me i could. unfotunately, unless i hung out the window with a` coat hager on the phone i could not get a signal. thier dropped call records verified the problem. all my friends had no trouble using thier phones in my house. t-mobile tried everything to resolve the prloblem, hence the many phone replacements. luckily they were ethical enough to discontinue with no fee since they could not service me.
cingular-i signed with them and got free phones. they promised the motorola c331g was a good problem free phone. imediately i had reception and battery life problems. they said to go to one of thier stores to exchange it. upon arrival at the store 3 employees laughed at me and said that phone was well known as the biggest piece of crap they ever.
sold. I don't know about you but I would call that being lied to and misled.
keep your big mouth shut unless you know what you are talking about.
if you need to enforce a contract then chances are your are performing to an acceptable level or that situation would not arise. you seem to feel that even if a company doesn't perform or is unethical they deserve money! I would be willing to bet most people would dissagree. when I enter into a contract with a customer I perform because I want them to renew w/me. you seem to have`a take the money and run attitude and i hope you lose every customer you ever get and get sued so much you finally learn that there is more to business than screwing people because you have a contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!a-hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  !!!!!!!!!!!!!
