Nobody wants to pay full price.
People look for a bargain.
They don't consider the contract, the consequences, etc when they get that 2 phones for free deal at their local service provider.
The wakeup call always comes when they want to get out of the contract and they can't w/o penalty. "I'm not happy with the service" or "reception sucks" are not valid reasons.
Then people get all mad and yell and try to intimidate their way out.
Used to make me laugh when i worked as a CSR.
"You read the contract, yes?"
"no"
"Well, you should have."
or
"yes, I did"
"Then you know the fees are valid."
Shoulda done your research. |
dear cingular csr.
you seem to have a " how to screw the customer attitude" like "ha ha ha, i got you now". this does not represent you or your company well. alot of problems i feel can be avoided if csr's were better trained and honest. there are situation where a company might not be a good fit for a particular users needs. these details need to be eplained thorughly for example-if you can't get satisfactory service(whether its biling or reception issues etc`)
the company should be doing all they can to resolve the problem. there are unreasonable customers who you will never satisfy, but the majority of users are with you because the require and are willing to pay for a service. there is also a cost to do business. sometimes the best customer is the one you don't get! all-in-all, for the majority
of customers who need a service and was well informed properly by the csr of all the details, it shoulod never get to the point where the contract has to be involved to discontinue the relationship. again , the best contract is one that never has to be used i must say that in the past i could ask very important questions to 5 different csr's, and get 5 different answers. this seems to have improved much over the past few years, but with continual csr training and an ethical way of doing business the customers should have no problem fulfilling thier contracts. brian cecchini cecchini10@hotmail.com

Yes, i am currently a Cingular Customer, i have 1 year left of 2 years, but the last 4 months have been terrible, they have messed up on bill time and time again, causeing our phones to be shut off , for no fault of our own, they keep saying sorry, and putting bandaids of Extra roll over minutes to fix it, but its happen 4 months now, and im tired of it. Can i get out of this contract if they have shut my phone off for their mistakes? What can i do? Who should i report it to? Cingular Customer Service said they cannot do anything but fill out billing fixes, and that i can be let out of my contract. Any Suggestions?
thanks so much.

I would open an online account on Cingular.com to monitor you usage, and the first little thing you see report it. Check it once a week and if any problems arise you can shoot it down before the mistake is made on your bill

I saw this cool site called cellswapper, that helps you swap cell phone contracts. Anybody try it?

Well if u wana get rid of ur contract its easy u just need to use more than 40% of exesvice of network this means that u need to use ur celphone more on other state outside the place of primary use and then theyll be losing money for this so theyll send u a letter tellin u that u will be canceled with no charge
