What is the phone doing after you upload the seem files to phone? It turns on and off right after?

Have you try to revert the procedure?
If you save the seem files before you edited, upload it back to phone and re-enable the custom startup & shutdown screen again.

i believe this is due to the Battery more than anything. it IS a lot of trial and error but as you tried to flash your phone.... even now it will not charge the battery... you need a power source (i was lucky ..my wife has same phone, hence i used her battery). i used the 45R & se series flex.... but the phone kept failing, so i tried loads more...various (i was on the 55 then as i am now,and this cannot downgrade.. so others may work for you)
i continue (ripping hair & in panic mode) i eventually after loads of attempts to capture the phone, load the items i have now,... you will eventually get there, don't despair, (if you have a desktop charger or another phone available.. fully charge it)
You might want to try MSS to flash first as this give 'life' to my phone
...keep us informed on your progress icon_smile.gif

i dont think that the battery is the problem. i have done things (i followed the tutorial step by step) on the startup seems.

i have another battery of a v600, i will try it anyway.

i managed to get in to the flash mode (holding * # and the power on)

but, after trying to flash TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.4AR_reflash.shx with MultiFlashFlex it crash when try to checksums.

im using windows xp sp2. im using PST 1.8.

Get yourself pst 6.7 as this maybe the problem.

are you sure it is PST 1.8 .... i used 6.7 (now 7.1 but then it was) and XP2 will not load the patch's though mine worked without them.
you will need to switch phone on at the exact time the program looks for it... you will tell if you have it as a yellow symbol appears (though it doesn't say motorola)
then browse a flash file and load

i feel this is a situation that i don't want to rest till resolved... please keep informed icon_neutral.gif

I could never get PST 7.11 running even with the patch files. Hmmmmm. 6.7 is good with me though.

i was able to fully flash the phone with mss 3.5.8 with TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.1FR_A1_full_flash.vf3.

AND STILL CANNOT LOAD UP! the screen test display appears and then shutdowns.

excuse my misstake, i tried to say MultiFlashFlex 1.8. Im actually using PST 6.7. and i have 6.9 too but dosent work either.

flashing or flexing should resolve the problem?
