Does anyone out there know of any way to get a V505 into flash mode other than by holding down the * and # keys while powering on? I am having trouble and believe that it is because I have the wrong USB cable SKN6311B instread of the SKN6311A. If there is an alternate method I would certainly apreciate some guidance.

the method you showed...i thought was just a master shock reset
what program are you using? you shouldn't need to go to any 'mode' to flash it as all data will be wiped anyway... make sure you tick the box's on the right to master reset & clear if using multy from PST

I am trying to use VictorGSM to unlock the phone but Victor keeps telling me that the phone needs to be in Flash Mode. It then says that it is attempting to switch it to Flash Mode but just hangs at that point.

doesn't Service Victor (if this is same as MSS) ONLY unlock older phones  if you try it on new phones it can turn them into a new feature...... a brick  rendered useless

I'm new to the cell hacking world and have no idea however I do know that I do not want to implement the brick feature set!

i got a problem with my phone that is a v505 but it can be repaired with a program called rsd lite if got the flash in an .shx file you just need to connect the phone and do like when you used to turn it on the input the file and start
i fixed mine the last time someting laki that happened because this is not the first time.
