Simple as could be: I just sent an email to my Phone # @vzwpix.com, and attached an mp3 file to it and it went thru,
But if the file is too big it will not be delivered, so I’m looking for a good and easy program to cut out pieces of songs, if anyone knows of something like that please let me know:

audacity is a great program for cutting music and editing it, small and simple to use

when i was sending an mp3, in that proper format with mono and 22050 or something, it gave me a list of "unexpected errors" everytime i try sending anything to the phone and it sends the file to my phone, however i can't access it, i've sent midi and mp3, and neither work, so i'm going to try emailing it, but until then, how can i fix this problem?

Thanks to you people for the Audacity program it's really great! But I played around with bitpim and i sew that i can actually cut music with it and its working vary vary easy and i can then save the file on my pc, so i think bitpim is a great program!!
By the way does anybody know what BitFling is? It comes together with Bitpim and when i try to open it, it comes up an error?

If you are using bitpim, it could be that the first time you uploaded the mp3 file it was too big, so the unexpected error came up, this error will stay because the file exists on the phone and you can't delete it, so what you should do is, rename the file on the computer, and upload it again
Hope this helps

How are you guys uploading these files to the lgvx 6100? I bought a usb data cable off ebay and installed the driver, but i need a program that will allow me to upload files to the phone. I saw that someone mentioned that the verizon data cable came with software. Does anyone happen to have an image of that cd? I would owe you big time if you do. Anyone know of another way to do this? The cable says it supports ftp. Would i be able to use cuteftp? Thanks

BitPim Is a great program to upload files to the phone, and it's free!
P.S. for those who have free pix messages, you can go to www.vzwpix.com and set up an account, and you can send pix and songs to your phone from your pc!

By the way: verizon just came out with free ‘IN’ pix messages for only $5.00 a month!!

Ok, so ive downloaded bit pim and succesfully send mp3's to the phone.

Now... i have been wanting to drop the quality level (to make the file smaller), raise the volume of mp3 clips, and also loop the adjusted Mp3 clip.

So.....I Downloaded soundforge and i have been able to accomplish two or the three.

Does anyone know how to loop an mp3 in soundforge?
