Im on the O2 network and want to insert another simcard,but it asks me to put in the "Network lock password"...Does anyone know what to do?or how to do it?  [/b]

Turn the phone on with a O2 simcard and try if the code #*7337# works.

I tried it but it says "Error: Not Alowed"
It doesnt do anything.....Im really clueless

 None of the codes work on the E330, all it says is "Error, Not allowed" and nothing happens...

I tried all the codes with the O2 simcard that the phone is locked to.Nothing happens....just one of the codes reset my phone settings,but thats it.

Hi
Got the same problem, but with Orange UK.
Went to Romford today and a stall holder there said that he should be able to unlock it, but needs to get a software update for his hardware first. I will let you know how I get on.

When I used one of the Samsung code with my original Sim card I only reset my phone settings and had to reenter all addresses  . The other simcard was not accepted! Has anybody any other ideas?

i have Samsung Sgh - E330 mobile..i bought it on ebay.. when i tried to use my sim card it asked me for password..
the phone has t-mobile mark but i use other service.. can anybody help me with password?
