two weeks ago i bought a new nokia 6600 phone. while surfing the net via gprs the phone suddenly turned itself off and it showed the word ' NOKIA ' on the screen . i had to switch on my phone again . i am scared . does my phone have an virus ? or is it a hardware problem ? also do all nokia 6600 phones have the same problem ?

Phone restarts do happen, generally when the cache becomes full, so the phone reboots to clear the buffer memory. Nothing much to be afraid of, its happened on virtually all of my phones, N-gage, k700i, 6220, 3650, p800.
However, to be on the safe side, take a backup of the phone memory and mmc contents.

do we need a cable for backup???

Hi, i had the same thing with my 6600 it needed a software upgrad, "new esn 351546006316720" what ever that is...
