I tried the no imei version of telcel but they still don't match. I also tried to revert back to my backup.sre and my imei still doesn't match. Aren't they supposed to be exact and how do I get it to revert back?

Do I need some kind of data writer or software to do this and can it be done with the data cable?

Yes it can be done with a cable and you will need Win IMEI or cerebros to do this.

Here's what I've found out about the video on this firmware. The phone stores it as a series of JPEG images in the phone's memory. The only way I was able to extract them was using a program called "Cell Seizure", and it took forever because I had to dump the whole filesystem with it. Once I'm done with finals I plan to try and figure out how one might get the images out more easily - even if you do, though you'll have to turn the series of JPEG images into a movie file if you wanna watch it like a video. Not difficult, but I was hoping it would be a bit less involved than that. Huemann - do you have any ideas? I believe it's stored in the same memory area as the regular pictures you take, so if you've got ideas on how to retrieve them with a cable let me know.

Will Do! icon_wink.gif

I need to check out that "Cell Seizure" and see if maybe you can choose which addresses to backup.

Sounds like a bug with the new firmware. Alot of the firmwares I have tried have little bugs most of which can be fixed thankfully.
