What area are you in? I live in Boston. One of my coworkers has a verizon Treo that he has been using for months now. I am not sure if it is the exact model, but he has been very happy with it. BTW get the unlimited data option if you get it. He figured out that if he went with the basic data plan, he would have paid over $500 in usage charges in the first month alone!!!!
Update: Sorry his is a 600.

On another website that discusses treos, they are taking preorders for the treo 650 on verizon. They also had a picture of a sign that is going to go up in a store. So either they are scamming the people by taking orders or it seems like the 650 will be introduced soon.
Hopefully the problems that I have read about on other networks will be solved.

the 650 has seemingly had quite a number of problems. verizon does test everythingreally quite alot and will try not to release it until it at least clears the limited testing only a handful of enginerring and marketing folks can do.
if anyone had a motorola T720 or a kyocera 7135 from about a year, you know what kind of messiness can happen when a flawed product gets out there. even though that unit was tested, you could never know until it hits en mass. withthe treo, if it is experiencing issue in limited testing, you don't want it to hit the streets.
it's not so much rumour that ti will be coming in a few months but palm needs to work out the kinks. the unfortunate thing is if a manufacturer makes a flawed product, the carrier gets blamed (beleive me)and verizon tries to avoid that as much as possible.
