Is there some software to use to get the midi files from my harddrive to the phone?
Or is there some other procedure?
I am using IR to a laptop.
Thanks in advance!'

Simply transfer your midi files to t610, it recognises the format.
and it does not require any other programs to trasfer it.

...for the quick answer.
Now I just need a cable. The IR is so touchy...

Another option is if you have internet enabled on your phone, you can upload the ringtones to a wap-friendly webpage, then just access the page via your phone and click on the link(s)....Your phone will automatically download the ringtones.
We've tried it this way, and it works perfectly.

so would it be possible to upload a midi file to a web page and then access that via WAP or whatever and it will auto download? Or will i need to make a web page to put them all on first?

You would need to create a page first.... with as few graphics as possible in the actual design of the page....unless you already have a page like that...
Then add all the links you want to download
then visit the page through your wap, and click the links, they should download as soon as you click them
It is entirely possible, and easy, to do
