Ok - has anyone successfully gotten onto regular HTML web pages from a laptop connected via bluetooth to a t610 to the internet?
I am trying to do so through a zonet bluetooth dongle, to the phone, and I've dialed *99# and I can get my laptop to be able to check mail, but I can't get onto regular websites. Any ideas?
I have tmobile with tzones unlimited, and I've confirmed with tmobile that they think I should be able to see web pages.

Let me share my experience with T630 and bluetooth dongle to connect to internet. In my cellphone, there is a setting in Connectivity > Data comm. > Data accounts > GPRS > CID=1.
In my laptop, the number that I dialed is *99***1#. The number 1 is come from CID=1. I can surf the web with that setting
I am not sure if the same setting can be applied to you.
Hope this help.
Amri.

Thanks. I've tried that with the CID1 connection and created other connections but I can still only get mail smtp and pop3 connections to work. HTTP port 80 will not work.
Do you have tmobile with tzones unlimited, or what ?

Hi jeff,
I live in Indonesia and my provider is called Telkomsel. But that is not the issue. All providers in my country are using the same setting, that is *99***X# where X is CID number in cellphone setting as I wrote before.
I'm not sure what is the correct setting for your tmobile.
What about reference in your cellphone manual for this setting?
