hi
so i got nokia 6820...got both blnk logo files in my cellphone...the nol file and the ota file...but the operator logo option is still on off and wont get on...says no operator logos in phone memory... read all the post in this topic in this forum and others cant resolve the problem

It won't work by just copy the files on the phone.
The option will only be enabled when the logo is really send to you or you've set it as logo with MobiMB.
Open this URL in you phones browser:
http://www.mrzippy.org.uk/funkyfone/blank.nol
It will download and install a blank logo to your phone.
Now the logo option will be available. It will allow you to deactivate the logo.

did it....actually tried to install it from 3 different links still doesnt work

Some provider do send a permanently signal to the phone, so it won't show the blank or any other logo, only the regular network name.
But I've never heared Vodafone doing it.

the thing is i remember the option for operator logo was changeable...and then i reset the manufactor settings and it just didnt come back

The option is only available when there is logo on the phone. No logo, no option.

but i do have the logboth file installed logo!!!
have the 2 files installed and all but still option doesnt work

Can you see the files in your phones memory?
If yes, that could be a reason. The logo files are normally not shown.

yeah i can see boh logo files in the phone memory...you mean the image and the graphic directories right?

I meant the actual file, not the directories.
Because you wrote first:

These files are normally not visible in the memory.
I'm kinda out of ideas...
