How do you check what software-version a phone has?
You enter a code, right?
Also, how do you upgrade the software?
Can it be done at home by cable?
It's regarding the S700.

Hi,
It's [Right*Left,Left*Left*] this'll take you to the engineering menu or perhaps the service menu.
And your firmware is available in that menu.
*#06# is the code to find the IMEI of your phone. This'll work on any make (nokia, sonyericsson & any other.).
Bye,

Thanx but that's not what I was asking for.
I got the part about how to check the phone.
Now I need to know if it's the most recent version or not, so which is the latest version?

Hi Alarcron,
I hope that you didn't get the question he asked! It was, He'd already knew about the service menu, ifn't He'd found out from us how..! than now he wants to know about "Finding The Latest Firmware Available For His Phone."
The answer i could give is check the latest firmware thread in this forum. That could help you.
Bye,
No hard Feelings, If I'd ment anything hurting please apologize for such.
