The default code is 12345
There is no way to get around it.
Only by flashing a new firmware on the phone would "reset" the phone.

No.
Guess why it's called "security code"?
The only way would be by flashing a new firmware on the phone which will delete everthing in the phones memory.

The whole point behind a security code is so that you can't use the phone if you steal it...If the average joe could reset it, it'd be a bit pointless wouldn't it?

Yes, The Security Code isn't supposed to be publicly announced alike the Imei of your phones, because many could get the flashing equipments and then they could startup playing around with it.

New to nokia but motorola there is a softwear call MSS that would reset you security code to default 000000 or 1234 and it can also read what exactly that forgotten code you has in the fone. So i would think there is a program out there for Nokia, just have to research for it.

That can be done on Nokia phones too, but the phone needs to be powered up.
But as he stated the phone asks for the security code when powering on. So there will be no way.
