I had two 6100's updated in CT to version T61V2V02.

It deleted some of my ringtones

I must have missed it...what volume bug?

I'm running T61VzV01. Can I update to v02 myself?

Well, I found out about the volume bug (too soft for the first few seconds of an incoming call) so I dropped my phone off at Verizon and they flashed it with the new software patch, V02.

I wonder if anything else was fixed/added to this patch?

I heard about the volume bug. They finally came up with the software to fix the glitch. Good FYI! Thanks bro!

I carried my 6100 by the "V" store today to have it updated to the V02 software.
The guy couldn't get it to update, he was going to give me a new phone,
but couldn't them to update eather.
He said that he would order me 3 phones of the "new" style that could be
updated.
Anybody heard of this?

would the LG 6100 firmware update delete pictures as well? I had it recently updated at the Verizon store, the tech says all pictures will be erased, but at the end of the upgrade, my pictures/wallpaper is still on the phone. Does that mean the update didn't complete?
