I have read a lot on these forums and elsewhere about the correct data cable for a Verizon VX7000. I have so far seen all of the following:
1. VX7000 purchased , VX6000 cable arrived.
2. VX6000 cable will work.
3. VX6000 cable will not work
4. VX6000 cable will work if you shave off some plastic.
5. Some manufacurers list a cable for both VX6000/7000.

I would like to get one of the many inexpensive VX7000 cables on eBay if I can get someone who has done this to give me the thumbs up and the vendor from whom he/she purchased said cable so I can make sure I get the same one.

i just got this one yesterday works great with bitpim to upload and download data to and from the phone only thing i noticed its not charging but maybe its a driver issue on that not that i care.

Many thanks Bizdady, does it also transfer photos to your PC. Bitpim (which I use too) implies that it does.

ya it works on getting wallpapers and ringtones great i havent had time to even look at the charging part too but ill update once i get to looking into that detail after the weekend.

I can trust www.3gcables.com , Ill be ordering the one for my vx7000 later this week when I can save on shipping when my girlfriends vx4500 cable comes out also...

im using the latest version of bitpim, also i reinstalled the drivers and now the usb charger works great as well.

Thanks Bizdady, I have purchased one from the same vendor on eBay.
One more question, can you get the photos from your VX7000 camera onto your PC using Bitpim?
Glad you got the charger to work too.

I also bought my data cable from verizon for only 30 bucks.
But anyway, Yes you can upload ur pictures into Bitpim. I also have the latest version and it works great with my cable.
