(Click on the speaker icon next to the ring you want, then a screen will pop up. You should see a phone with a "can't hear anything" link below it. Click that link and windows media player will open. Once the ringtone has buffered, click on "File" then "Save As" and the tone is stored on your computer!)

Ok, I've downloaded the tone onto my computer, now how do I get it transferred throught the mobile tools to get on my phone ??

And Im still getting that error message . Im about to give up and return this phone for a v600
Even when I right click the ringtone and try to select "transfer to mobile, I cant click it or highlight it ??

Sorry to hear that. If I was you I would stick with your phone.
On the motorola website it doesn't say that it does support mp3 ringtones, but it doesn't say it doesn't either!

Yea Im done Lydon, this phone is consuming me. Imma trade it in for the v600 tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll have better luck with that one especially since my carrier supports it. But thanks for all your help though, I really appreciate it !! .
Hopefully things will work better with the V600.. Thanks.

Have you tried transfering a polyphonic ringtone to your phone?
