First off I would like to to say hello to everyone
Basically, I've been trying for over 5 hours to transfer ringtones onto my Motorola V878. I installed the software properly, it recognizes the phone and all, but for some reason I cant transfer music to my phone, I edited it and all but cant seem to transfer it. It tells me to click this green button at the top of the screen to transfer the song, but the button that Im supposed to be clicking isnt there and doesnt have the option to be clicked ??? Someone pleeeease help me out, I would greatly appreciate, and thanks in advance !!

check the title of your track to make sure there are nothing like '&' or other special characters... and not over 20 characters either

I tried that and everything is cool, but for some reason when it comes time to locate the ring that I altered, it doesnt come up in the Melody Center ?? Its like it cant be located ?? Is there something else extra that I need to do besides just shortening the tone in the composer window ?? I can play the file in the melody composer but I just cant transfer it to my phone ??
Ive been at this all day and nothing.... This almost makes me want to return my phone

Are you sure that your phone supports the format of the ringtone that you are trying to transfere to it? That could be the problem.
If you are trying to transfere mp3 ringtones:
Also, tones play at a certain bitrate on most phones (usually 46Kbps), check that the ringtone does play at that bitrate on your computer, which will automatically put those setting on your phone for that ringtone.
Hope this works. I share your pain. Its like waiting for your new cellpphone, which I have been doing for eay more than 6 working days, but no, my network HAS to take long to approve our request.

Ensure that the title, length, bitrate, and lastly file extension are all set to your phones standards. Title = 16 chars max, no special chars, Lenght = 30 seconds, Bitrate = 32kbps - 96kbps, and File Extension = .mp3
Follow those guidelines and try again, if not once your phones connected try sending a picture to it if that works connections fine something is off in your music file or somethings in-compatible. If it goes that far return for further assistance.
