Hi,

I think it functions as a 28kbps modem when used as a modem, and it transfers files at a speed of 11200bps through infrared.

Well, it depends on 3 things;

1;The phone, which the manufacturer decided how high connection max should be.

2; The service provider, which provides only a limited speed.

3; The reception is also very important, If very low, then also high speed is not possible. Full reception, then you also shall be able to use the highest speed provded by the service provider.

4; Network congestion - this'll even slow you down or let you access at available speed.

Have u guys noticed one thing? I think some one is deleting all topics here in the SE forum. I mean, i lost 10 replys. U seems to have lost 50 or more :S

Well, anyhow. I think i was kinda wrong before. GPRS class 8 is 85.6KB class 10 is ~112kb.
The HSCSD in the T630 is 28.8kb, so i guess its the same in P800.
P800 got HSCSD right? icon_razz.gif
