I'm beginning to think Cerberos simply doesn't work with a USB cable no matter what settings you use. If only my serial cable would arrive - I bought one on ebay from China before I even bought my phone and the only reason I got a USB cable is because it came with software I purchased later.
If anyone knows the address of the IMEI in the X427m firmware I'm thinking that would be a good way to correct it - edit the file and reload it with OptiFlash.

That'll be it. Good to know people actually go to it these days. I was beginning to think I was wasting the bandwidth they so generously gave me

Sorry if this is a tad off topic but I have a X427M (Cingular) and I got the USB data cable for it (3rd party) and it didn't come with any software so I was wondering if anyone had the drivers and software I can use to connect to the phone and delete/modify files. Like P2KMan for Motorola. Also what program will I need to convert .wav's to .mmf's?
Thanks!

reachpak - try http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic4919.html
As far as Cerebros, I have also had problems since I updated to XP SP2, so that program may have to be scrapped. I will look into it.
There is a usb to serial program on my site that may help you. I don't have much experience with the usb cables, but if the cable is good, then that should be all you need to use the regular serial programs like EasyGPRS and such

I believe you press the * key to toggle between AB, Ab and ab when you have deselected the T9.

All of what you are looking for is available at roswells website, not too familiar with P2KMan but you can edit Samsung DIY and Januka also as far as wav to mmf use the yamaha wav to mmf converter available on... yes you guessed roswells site.
