How many free space has a SE T610 when you buy it?
How much is the total space...
I heard about 2Mb but is 2Mb when is empty or is the whole memory?
Is there any way to make an extention at the memory?(like P800)?

2MB when empty (something around 0.8 free MB upon purchase).

no way at present of extending memory so lots of file storing will take place on my PC.

When I bought mine, 2 stupid [small] logos were not being erased...
So did 1 theme, and 6 ringtones...
Well that does not bother me because they need too little space... [89 KB]
So I had/have 1911 KB free for my use...

First thing i did when i bought my phone was do a FULL mastrer reset. This erased all (or most of) the rubbish on it. Then i manually deleted some rubbish colour thingy game, some rubbish black+white pictures and i had 1600kb for my use icon_smile.gif

I still don't understand the hype over this 610. I have a nokia 3650 and I can store a total of over 2500 640x480 pictures on it, several thousands of text messages and whatever else. Why only 2mb of memory? icon_wink.gif I have 128mb of memory at my disposal on my phone, I cant imagine not having that much, it's so handy...

But, if you look at the feature list, the T610 is clearly a better phone. Its not a HUGE brick with a weird keypad, O yea- its made by the best- SONY

T610 is MUCH better!

Gosh you've got me on that one.....NOT
What is this feature list your talking about, I don't see a java enabled symbian operating system and a 100mhz processor or the ability to store thousands of sms or the ability to schedule profiles automatically or use your phone as a remoe control for hundreds of devices or install an mp3 player on your phone or ftp from your phone to any server or receive e-mails on the phone wth pitures on them and save the onto the phone. Or msn and icq from your phone?? I could go on...but I think you get the point.... icon_cool.gif

you cant really compare as they are very different phones aimed at very different markets!

diff size and features, i think its a very subjective opinion here

both have nice features, but the storage size is prob the biggest diff right?

but if you compare the size of the phone, fair to say most ppl will go

wow, that's sexy at a T610
and

lol... are you serious? at a 3650
but later they will be impressed by the phone's features

as for the 2meg on the T610... if you read the 13sec trick thread
you will find some ppl have actually extended that to 2.5 megs.. although not a big diff.. better than nothing

my 2cents

Yeees, two cents it is, I've had the 3650 fo quite a while and have no problem with the size but I do agree that they are aimed at different markets though so that pretty much justifies the argument (and I haven't seen the price) but I'm sure the price is right...
