How do you change the text on the outside of the phone i've read a tutorial but it was really confusing icon_sad.gif

Try using motorola tool or p2k tools to do it.

I just recently made the guide for such. Visit my site Motorola Index Site look for 'Outer LCD Customization' and open the link. It'll have a detailed guide on how to change it.

(use bablefish to translate sites )

use p2ktools two clicks and its done after a restart of the phone..

no seems editing and you can restore it easily, p2ktools does full seem backups too,

Or that yes, just plug up phone let p2ktools load then read your phone in p2k mode. then look for the tab that has something in it about outer lcd and change it to what you want write to phone and your good. Very quick and easy.

I found wading through the russian and locating the file quite difficult. Might I suggest this link for getting P2KTools? It's from the same site, only I used a google search to avoid the near-translation.
