I wanted to know if there was any way that i could transfer an mp3 through the usb i have that connects to my phone......i have a v180

Not likely...the Motorola V180 doesn't support mp3 playback so your outta luck on this one man sorry.

V180 absolutely does support MP3 Playback, as long as we are referring to ringtones... You can transfer MP3 through the data cable. I don't think they can be very long.

Use Mobiole Phone Tool to establish connection to you pc then open up multi media center should be 2 folders there audio and picture then just drag and drop you mp3 to audio folder.

Ok maybe i was wrong but yeah use MPT to connect via USB Cable and then access multimedia center.

I'm not sure what I stumbled on, but search for p2kman. This enabled me to access the telephone, but be careful, you have complete access, that means if you delete something that's needed.....
However, I found where the mp3s and the jpgs were stored. Erased the crap that came with the phone and put in a bunch I liked. BTW, you can't play an entire mp3, try 20seconds or less. Best to get an mp3 editor and slice and dice it.
