Recently I just bought a Motorola V220 but I don't know what software should I use to transfer ringtone from my PC to the Phone since I can use USB cable to do this.
I'm wondering between p2kman and bluetooth, which one should work with this phone?
Last question, can anyone tell me what type of ringtone file does this phone support? Does it support MIDI file?

If you are refering to a V220 phone, your only option is a data cable to transfer files to and from phone. V220 doesn't have Bt capability.
Also, V220 phone supports Polyphonic (24 channels) & MP3. MIDI is not supported.

Before this gets any deeper to be a Q & A thread. I suggest you search the forum for any questions you have as this topic has been discussed numerous times.
To get you started. You can either use pst, p2kman, mss, mobile phone tools, motorola tools, & p2k tool.
I warn you ahead of time. This model phone has given some members problems in regards to installation.
Be sure to look to the bottom of the forum for moto tutorials.

I thought that polyphonic ringers are in fact midis.... Anyways, I can confirm that v220 supports midi, mp3, and amr ringers.
But to the subject at hand, you can use mpt and p2kman to transfer ringtones and such to your phone. I've read some bad stories about mpt, but maybe p2kman is ok.

In fact, it is the opposite. P2kman is not to be toyed around if you don't know what you are doing. The consequences is a dead phone. On the other hand, mpt will less likely kill your phone.

The description of the V220 was taken from a link. Most of the time, the information can be miss leading as in this case.

That is true. P2kman can mess up your phone if not used properly.
