I recently bought my sister a Motorola T725 for the Suncom/ATT network. It is a GSM phone. Today, the phone stopped working. The phone suddenly starting flashing a white screen when she turned it on. Once this happens, the only way to stop the flashing white screen is to remove the battery. Once the battery is removed and then put back into the phone, you can then turn the power on. When powered up, the keypad lights up, the screen displays the "Hello Moto" screen, then the "Hello Moto" screen disappears, the keypad lights go off and the flashing white screen reappears. If you completely remove the battery and plug the phone into the wall charger, it flashes the white screen without ever giving you a chance to turn the phone on. She took the phone to the Suncom and they referred her to Motorola. She called Motorola and she said they refused to help as the phone wasn't made in America??? Perhaps she misunderstood what Motorola said there, but regardless, does anyone know what could be causing this, is there a way to fix it by yourself or by having Motorola fix it (would this cost an arm and a leg), or should the phone be considered a bust and thrown into the garbage? Thanks.

Thanks for the info provided. I was wondering if someone could explain what flashing the boot loader does or is? Thanks again for the help and info.
