yes it supports them, i've downloaded mp3's from wap for the v180, if you have a data cable it should have come with mpt, that's the easiest way to do it

Here's a quote of the help I received on another forum. I have the v180, p2kman, etc. and it worked for me perfectly:
"I had the same problem. It turns out that even though the audio files are physically there and able to be played from the multimedia menu, the list of audio files used from the ringtone menu is pulled from a couple 'database' files rather than just listing all of the audio files on your phone. So when you just download an audio file using p2kman, that audio file isn't known by the database files.
I don't know if there is a way to just add an entry to the database files, but I do know how you can force the phone to build new database files with the names of all of the audio files you currently have on your phone. This is what I did, and it worked fine. After downloading all audio files you'd like to use as ringtones, delete the following 2 files (which should be in the same folder as the audio files) using p2kman: MyToneDB.db and TempToneDB.db. Now restart your phone (either using the p2kman restart feature, or, just shutting your phone off and turning it back on).
When the phone starts back up and finds that those .db files do not exist, it automatically rebuilds them by using any audio files that currently exist on the phone. You should now be able to find your new audio files in the list of potential ringtones to select for your various ring styles.
Just to be safe, you might want to back up those 2 .db files by uploading them to your computer before blowing them away, but I've done this procedure a number of times on my V180 and haven't had any trouble."

If all else fails, go to www.euploader.com and click on the UK flag (that selects English). You will be taken to the website's homepage. On the homepage there will be a bar on the right that has an option called "upload". Click on there and you will be taken to a place where you will be able to upload files onto the site's WAP page. Once you have uploaded the file, you will be given an ID, a code and the address of the WAP page where you can download your file free using WAP or GPRS.
(NOTE: Your file will be deleted from their WAP page within an hour!)
