Hi.
I flashed and flexed my TMobile V600 to 4FR and E9 and now I'm on the Cingular Network with the little triangle roaming indicator on the phone. Is anyone else experiencing this? Why is this happening? Should I be concerned? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks. Happy New Year!

This only happened after you flexed your phone?
You are getting a roaming icon and the network logo says Cingular and not t-momo? You are currently with t-momo?

Yes. Yes. and Yes. Any ideas? The weird thing is that I'm able to call "123" which is my TMo Voicemail.

Was there ever a time when the roaming icon is not there but you are receiving a t-mom network and not Cingular??

Nope. I have not yet been on the TMobile network since I flexed the phone. Does the flash/flex lock my phone to a network? The phone is still locked but to TMobile.

I've also checked my network settings. My network List says TMobile 310-260 for Home

Hi saw your post about the Cingular thing, Same thing happened to me... I spent about a good hour with T-mobile today asking them if I'm roaming or if I would be getting charged extra fee's... They checked a few things sent me some files via SMS and told me that they're would be no roaming or extra charges... If there's anybody out there that can do a stock or oem T-mobile V600 Flash/Flex files I'd really appreciate it being sent. My phone works ok, but my signal isn't as good, I'm not getting all my calls, just a voice mail SMS and The SMS message's don't alway's work... If there's anybody on here that could help that'd be awesome. Thanks again.

Most of the guys here just use an unbrand. If you do stumble on a branded t-momo flex, post back your results. icon_biggrin.gif

i've purchased v525 vodafone branded on ebay.
My phone says i'm on cingular + roam, but in fact i'm on t-mobile. No roam charge.
I was about to flash/ex my phone but i see it will very likely not going away. hm.

You can seem edited the roam icon to go away. That was what I did to mine.
