An update to my previous post - LG Contents Bank software for the L1100 v2.2 (2.2.7.04.02-EN) appears to be working fine with my phone (img uploads as well as mmf file uploads).

This is good! icon_biggrin.gif

I use DataPilot for mine.
https://www.susteen.com/phones_lg.htm
They support; Phone Book, Ringtones, Backgrounds and SMS Manager.
They don't support Internet Data Support.

The other one I've found to work is Futuredial
http://www.futuredial.com/matrix/M_LG.htm
But all they support is the phone book.

Trying to see if either will ever offer Internet Connect for the LG1300.
Wish I would have got a better phone. This one has problems holding a decent battery charge.

I think I am going to get DataPilot, because all I want to be able to do is backgrounds (wallpapers)...I really see no other choice...and I wish I'd have known more before I got this phone. Live, learn and next time, I'll be sure to get one that has the features I want...however, this was a free phone and I do like it, overall. But, I am new to this cell phone 'business', so I am learning!

Cheers! icon_wacko.gif hehe

Did you try looking at DataPilot or FutureDial for the driver? A lot of times, they'll have them.

DO you know if this version also works with the LG G4015? I was able to download LG Contents Bank it shows as 401X-v2(2.0.12.23-EN). I know the 1300 and 4015 are supposed to be compatible but I am not sure of the 1100. I am having the same problem as almost everyone in that when I try to upload the ringtone I am getting the CME-3 error.

Any clues?

I was able to get the LG Contents Bank Download from this site. Click on this link or use copy and paste it for the website address. This brings you to the page for the 4011 but in the right hand corner you will se a link for PC Sync Software.

If you are still looking for the driver you can go to the link below and see if it helps you. This got me my drivers but I am still having problems with the software. Bitpim does not appear to work with this series and LG Contents Bank keeps freezing on me Error CME-3.

Have you had any luck yet? If so please tell me how, I am trying to upload ringtones to my G4015.

Thanks

Isn't the C1300 a GSM phone? Bitpim and other software programs aren't designed to handle the GSM memory protocols. The GSM phones require different software from different manufacturers. I know that LG has the Contents Bank software avaiable, but I have heard various problems coming up with the 1300's that haven't been issues with others. First, the lack of an english version - I have heard of people getting oversea's downloads and trying them. The second is that the 1300 isn't officially supported through CB 2.0... So, just let it be known that you are not alone in the quest for software for the 1300's... If I see anything new on solutions, I will post it...

If anyone is still looking try this link for LG Contents Bank, but please let me know if you get it to work as I am getting the popular CME-3 error

Here is the UK version and it works great no CME-3 error! I used the L1100 one for my LG 1300i.
