 Hey i have the Lg 1300i... I love the phone But im trying this data cable upload stuff so i can get new sounds and wall papers .Ive never had such a hard time with it.
NOne of the models support my phone and i dont have much of an idea how it all words and its not that simple to understand ...
Anyone who knows what i need for This data cable let me know cause im very interested in know how to get this tuff working

 Aight well i got my 1300i Phone working with sounds and wallpapers but i just found out that the uk software works.And guys if you have the 1300i lg as long as the adapter works and connects to ur phone use the uk software.Only problem i found it that software dont allow you to download sounds to ur phone for text message sounds.
So we need to work somemore stuff out damn guys we will end up finding out more problems that we need to fix before any of theys companys get off there asses to supply us.
Shit i got a 25 dollar plan next thing i know im almost paying 50 a month

FYI there is no such thing as driver for phone(C1300, L1100 etc.)well least not for LG phone...
you need driver for USB serial cable converter. once you got that phone simply just plug on to converter/cable.

Hey all, I have a burning, all-consuming question - So I have a c2000, and I have the data cable, the only problem is that I was assured that buying a USB cable would be fine, but NONE of the software you guys have suggested so far works with USB cables. Help? Do I need to buy a usb to serial converter to make this work (I think I have one somewhere at home), or is there SOMETHING out there that will actually let me use USB? (otherwise why in god's name do they sell usb data cables?)

I have the LG 1300i and am experiencing the CME-3 error with LG Content Bank, and LG PC Sync just plain fails to connec tto the phone (even though I have the port set correctly to Com3 for USB cables).
Also, Content Bank seems to only support downloading .MMF files but not wallpapers... Is this correct? If so, how do I download wallpapers?
Please offer suggestions! Thanks.

Okay, the solution was to download the version 2.2 software (not 2.1)... It allows you to put images and sounds on the 1300i (Java brings up the dreaded CME 3 error). I couldn't access the site which hosts the file, but Bush Boff was nice enough to get it for me. Thanks!!

So is there any way to get Java onto the c1300i? I've been looking for hours for a program so I can get games on my cell...no luck.
