When I goto the 3.19e I get this crap. I cannot even connect to the modem. This is without doing anything but doing the stupid update.

you need to redo your profile so that it finds your 220, the pic you see on your comp shoud be of a v220, other wise it won't work.

It does not list it. Everything except the V22 and V180 is listed. This is 30 bucks I wish I had back.

try contacting motorola and see if there is an update to get your phone listed, or maybe there is another program for your phone. anyways look at moto's website and contact them about your phone and mpt

Update your modem now that you have updated your MPT, put use manual install option rather then auto (Advance and Specific location) then piont ot it . Sample C:\program\mpt\inf. Good luck

I heard the F6 or F7 function key do something. Try those keys.
I will never get a V220. I heard more problems posted here than any other phone.

I finally figured it out. I called motorola themselves and got it.
I had to go into setup on the toools and selecte phone from there.
After that this appeared. Yes this is my phone. LOL
I don't know why they make this so damn difficult.
Anyway now I can help people

right click the icon at the bottom and goto - setup>general setup
press communications tab and choose change modem
cancel autosearch and choose your own
now the driver should be installed for that model
re-start pro. see if it works
