i think the latest firmwar available for the 6630 is 3.45.113. me should be getting that in my phone today! 
do you know if anyone out there has actually managed to unlock these phones yet? having said that, i'm a lucky cow! mine is already unlocked!

Hey kazz, i've read your e-mail. How sweet of you.  But you said in this forum you'll tell me how you got it, but you didn't.
Anyway, where did you unlock your phone?

Well, i still dunno if he will pay for the bill or deal a unit without a plan. I think he's from Tokyo but i'm not sure.
Btw, remember the link you gave me about the free online unlocking of phones? Should i trust giving him (and the public) my IMEI?

yeah, mail me offline and i'll tell ya! this place is not really for advertising as for the unlocking, i got the phone like that.  the email address is on my profile
new software, i've not really had the time to play with it as yet. been a bit busy this weekend with family. but will let you know once i've had a better play with it.
never seen that sight before, but i've bookmarked it now. i'd probably be a bit wary bout posting my imei up on a board. but them i'm a suspicious girly... not sure what people could do with your imei...

babe. i have not had any issue with only 7MB of memory. I agree its a bit low what they provide. but once we get the new mmc cards that should make things easier i guess. certainly not seen problems of errors about low memory.

i have a nokia 6630 here but still i cant use it with other sim cards. its lock with vodafone japan. pls help me were can i find this unlcoking stuff. im from the philippines.. pls help me tnx

You mean you can't find a shop that offers unlocking? I thought having a unit openline is so easy in Manila. Can you tell me where and what shop you have tried? And show your email so that we can communicate personally.

i'vce tried at sm north edsa cyberzone. to be exact.. lots of cell shops in there. but no one can unlock the unit.. they told me to wait for about a month. *sigh*
