dude this phone.. is just a pain in the ass.... whats wrong with it.. i cant install a simple sis. file... vodaphone is sh**!!! can anyone help me!!!!(at least, i paid only 1 yen).... pinoy forever... japan fone are crap!!

don't understand that, i've installed loads of .SIS files on mine without any problem. how about trying to explain exactly what happens so people can help you out?

just to say to all those who currently need the 6630 unlocking. If your on Vodaphone and need it unlocked you gonna have to wait. There is no way to get these things unlocked APART from the SP's and as far as i am aware this can take up to 2 months or more. When i contacted Vodaphone myself all i got was that if i took the phone to a vodaphone outlet that they would check the serial number out ( Coz its second hand ) and if the phone was more than 12 months old they would unlock it for free otherwise it would cost me £20. Despite all the sites claming to be able to unlock them its all bull, you will see most of them put it under DCT4 and it isnt. i dont THINK anyone is sure yet if its DCT5 or a new ASIC version. On the other problem, when your installing your .sis files if you are dubble clicking them and getting them to install automatically try startin PC suit up first then SELECT the file manually because sometimes PC suit dosent pick ya phone up straight away, also make sure your cable is plugged in properly. All i can think of with the limited info you posted.

its actually a BB5 product. in terms of asic, its what they call RAP3G, but thats not the reason for why it's so hard to be unlocked.

Solution to install sis file on Vodafone Nokia 702nk (6630).
1. First of all download HalWin
http://www.teamknox.com/Hal/HalWin20050407.zip
1. Unzip it, remember where you put the file.
2. Open Halwin, then File, Open then find the sis file you want to install
then click Open
3. When HalWin asks which drive to install the app into, choose "E" if you want to
install it on MMC Card "C" if in Phone.
4. HalWin will create a folder "E" or/and "C" inside the directory where your sis file
is located
5. Open "E" folder copy System file
6. Next go to Nokia PC Suite. Make sure your phone is connected
via USB cable.
7. Click Start, My computer, Nokia Phone Browser, click your phone name( usually
Nokia 6630 ), then click E then Paste
Note: Ignore the error message
8. Same with the "C" folder follow 5 to 7 but in phone memory.
Important to install FExplorer when installing cracked file
