No, you can't do it with a cable..
You'll have to buy an IR or BT device.
I was wondering whats a BT Device, and can I use it with my T310 to transfer pics from my phone to pc?!

Dunno what a BT Device is, but if you want to transfer things from phone to PC it is very easily done if you have some sort of IRconection on your PC. just activate the infrared device on your PC and place your mobilephone towards it. then select the theme, picture, or whatever and choose send->IR. Works perfectly

hello!
I have a laptop and a SE T310. I easily transfered files untill I formatted my computer yesterday. Now I can't get file transfer(wireless link) working again. Computer detects IR modem for the first time and i installed modem drivers for T310. But I can't send pictures from mobile phone and from computer to phone. How do I make it work?
and in the phone monitor options i see COM PORTS and my COM4 IR port can't be enabled. It says "This operating system supports IRsockets for infrared communications.All IRcomm ports will therefore be desabled." ---> what does this mean? is this the problem?
I have a WIN XP with SP2
