Sadly enough, according to your guide I've already done something wrong. I tried updating everything and it still wouldn't work. I'm setting up a new computer with XP and I'll try and follow your guide to the letter for that computer. Hopefully your guide applies for MPT versions later than what you mentioned in the guide. I think it's up to like 3.11 or something like that.

Also, you're guide isn't working anymore, and I don't remember where I had saved the old one, is there another place you could host it? A geocities account maybe?

can get to the Phone Setup, but my phone "doesn't setup". It sits there, I waited 10 minutes.. and turned it off. This sucks, I'm sick of installing 5 different versions of MPT's (takes about 30 min in itself) then trying to set up everything and than the end result being the same. I began to have my doubts about this program the moment I came to this forum, too many people are having trouble with it. If motorolla can't make a program that won't require the help of a board and a guide to follow, then they should probably go back to the drawing board, and come up with a better program.

Well well well, after some more research, I've come to find out that Verizon specific cell phones will only allow me to use the data cable as to use my phone as a modem. I guess I'm forced to look for other ways. Thanks for all your help and I'm sorry for leading you the wrong way, I definately got the shaft by Radio Shack, they told me everything would work..
